Hi, my name is Amanda Vasquez. I am
a graphic designer from Santa Barbara, California. When I am not designing, you can find me at the beach, camping, or listening to the latest Reggaeton music. 
 
I have always loved to create art and doodle. In fact, I remember in 3rd grade
my teacher scolded me in front of the class for drawing all over an exam. Nevertheless,
I did not stop doodling and creating, and this eventually grew into a passion for graphic design and illustration. Along with digital illustration, I am also interested in motion graphics and animation.
 
I graduated 6/2021 with a BFA in Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. My time at Cal Poly enabled me to gain experience
in UX/UI design, publication design, packaging design, branding, illustration, and web design. Since graduation I have been freelancing for local organisations
and currently work full time for
Evans Hardy + Young, a marketing
agency in Santa Barbara.
