MUERTOS WEB LAYOUT
This assignment involved designing an original one-page editorial website layout for a travel destination, family recipe, or a religious/ cultural holiday.
I chose to create the fictitious website called “Cultura” which provides users with information on different Latin American holidays and events, such as
Dia De Los Muertos.

PROCESS
Since Dia De Los Muertos is a such a colorful and lively festival, images of this day tend to be very busy and loud. I used a high contrast black and white theme and ample negative space so that the colorful images could pop. The use of a serif typeface adds a touch of sophistication and sleekness to the web layout.
